Members and invitations
Invite people, set roles, and manage the team roster.

What this is for
Projects belong to a team, not to a person. This page is the roster: who is on it, what they may do, and how a colleague gets a seat. Roles, view-only and the invitation link itself are covered in Roles, view-only, and invitations. This article is the work of running the list.
Steps
Name the firm
- Open Members from the Team group in the sidebar.
- The Team card holds the name and the Market. Market selects the currency, units, grid code, wiring standard and tariff sources this team works to. It is not a person's role.
- Save team. A Designer does not see this card.
Keep the roster
- Members lists each person, their role and when they joined. You are marked on your own row.
- The Role column states each role. To change one, open the row's menu and pick Make Admin, Make Designer and so on; the role they already hold is not offered. It takes effect immediately. Only an Owner can grant or take ownership. An Admin cannot remove the Owner.
- Remove from the team is on the row menu of anybody you may remove. You cannot remove yourself here - leaving is its own page, reached from Leave this team on your own row's menu when it is allowed. A row with nothing you may do to it has no menu.
- The note on the card is seats used of seats allowed. An invitation is refused once the seats are full, even if the box is still there to type into. A team already over its plan (the count reads larger than the allowance) cannot add anyone until a seat is freed or the plan covers more.
Invite a colleague
Invitations, roles, view-only and the link itself are Roles, view-only, and invitations. On this page: enter a work email, pick a role, Send invitation. Outstanding invitations can be revoked from the row menu. Accepted, expired and revoked rows stay on the list as history.
Tips and common mistakes
- A guest share is a link to one project, not a seat. Invite a colleague; share with a customer.
- The team's projects stay with the team when somebody leaves or is removed. They do not follow the person.
- The only Owner cannot leave until somebody else is Owner, or the team is erased. That refusal is explained on Roles, view-only, and invitations.
