Team branding
Logo, accent colour, and firm contact details.

What this is for
What this firm's documents look like, and who they say they are from. Templates refer to roles - the accent, the logo - and this page is what those roles resolve against. Changing an accent here restyles every proposal without opening a template. Templates carry none of this.
Steps
- Open Branding.
- Who the document is from is the letterhead: company name (blank uses the team's name), email, phone, website, postal address, and the two registrations this market puts on a quotation - the one that says the company exists, and the one that says who is accountable for the engineering. The labels on the page are this market's names for those two. Website takes
www.example.comor a fullhttporhttpsaddress; anything else is refused, because that line is a link a client clicks on the page you share. - How it looks is one accent colour, a logo, and an optional banner.
- The accent is the only colour a team sets. Ink, paper and rules stay where they are, so a proposal stays legible. A bright accent is darkened automatically wherever it is used as text.
- Our navy writes the product's navy onto the team. Clear chooses nothing, so documents fall back to the product's amber. Those are different states.
- With no logo, the company name is drawn instead.
- The banner is a wide picture across the top of a page you share with a client. It is never printed on a proposal. Which picture, and whether it is shown, are two controls: turning the banner off does not throw the file away.
- Quotation validity (days) and terms sit here so a proposal can pick them up. Terms are available through the terms widget on a proposal, not printed automatically, and at the foot of every page you share with a client, folded under Terms and conditions. That page keeps the line breaks you type, so a numbered list stays a list.
- Upload PNG, JPEG or WebP, up to
4 MB. Vector files are not accepted, because an SVG served from this origin can carry a script. - Save. If this plan does not include white-label proposals and templates, the refusal stays on the form. Saving is an Owner's or Admin's; a Designer's save is refused the same way.
Tips and common mistakes
- One accent, not a palette. A second colour would let a team build a proposal this product cannot make legible.
- Plan and usage lists whether White-label proposals and templates is on this plan. Branding still holds the details so they are ready when the plan covers them.
- Proposal templates are a different screen. Branding restyles them; it does not rewrite them.
