Export and erase team data
Take a copy of team data or request erasure.

What this is for
Take the firm's data with you, or have the team erased. Both are rights under the privacy law named on the page. An Admin can export. Only the Owner can erase.
Steps
Export
- Open Your data.
- Download the export saves one JSON file: every site, design, simulation result and proposal reference this team owns, including the site coordinates. It is written for a person (or another system) to read, not for ArrayTrace to re-import.
- The export does not carry any member's email address.
Erase the team
- Erase this team is Owner only, and there is no undo. Everything else in the product soft-deletes so a removed project can come back. This does not.
- Confirm by typing the team's name exactly. A checkbox is something somebody clicks past; the name is not.
- Every project, design, simulation, proposal and payment record belonging to this team is removed. What survives is one audit entry that a team of this name was erased, with counts of what it held - no site, no client, no coordinate.
- After erasure the session is still signed in as a member of a team that no longer exists. Sign out. Nothing in the product will load until you do.
- Signing in again gives your account a new, empty team if it belongs to no other. That team starts with no plan: the trial belonged to the team you erased, and it does not start again.
Export first if you want any of it. There is no backup you can ask to restore from.
Tips and common mistakes
- Erasing the team is not the same as leaving it. Leaving keeps the work with the firm. Erasing destroys the firm.
- Catalogue rows this team published for others to design against are adopted by the installation, not destroyed with the team. What the team kept to itself goes.
- If you are not the Owner, the page says so rather than hiding the control. Ask whoever created the team.
- Erasure is all or nothing. "That could not be erased" means nothing was: the team is exactly as it was, and you can try again.
